Stroller Parking
Hello Parents,
We have noticed that in the hallways before and after school the walkways within the building are congested, making it difficult for parents and students to walk through. We want to make sure that we have a safe environment for our school community including our hallways. We are providing a designated area near the entrance to each building to park strollers in hopes of creating a safe walkway for our students and parents. The parking areas will be marked with a green sign. When using these areas please make sure not to leave valuables in your strollers, the school will not be liable for any stolen or lost items.
Thank you,
Ian Tanita

Bottle Cap update
Aloha Mililani 'Ike Families.
The deadline for our bottle cap challenge collection is soon approaching (March 31, 2014). So far, all of your contributions have been fantastic! We even had a family collect from relatives on a neighbor island and fly them back to Oahu for us - and it was a whole garbage bag full! Now that's what we call 'Ike pride!
The teachers and students will be out for Spring Break next week, but our office will remain open and you may continue to bring in your bottle caps. Please continue to save and drop off your bottle caps until March 31. Every one counts.
It is amazing to see how much waste is made from the bottle caps alone. Every cap contributed to this recycling project / contest, is one less piece of trash. We will post pictures on the blog soon so all of you can see what a combined effort can produce.
Mahalo to each and everyone of you for your participation!
