Stranger Danger Safety Awareness

Aloha 'Ike Families,

As we start the second half of our school year, please review with your child the importance of "stranger danger" if they walk to or from school.  A community member walking in the Mililani Mauka area reported to police about being approached by a stranger in a car over the weekend.  As good practice, please have your child practice these safety tips:

*Always walk with a partner or in a group
*Walk to school or to home (don't stop to talk story with friends)
*Never approach a stranger in a car or go with a stranger
*Always walk in a high-visibility area
