Summer School Enrichment Class Lists

Dear Families,

If you enrolled your child in the Mililani 'Ike Summer School Enrichment Program, you should have received a letter with your child's teacher, room assignment and supply list earlier this week.  If you did not receive a letter, please call the school at 626-2980.

The Summer School Enrichment class lists have also been posted at our front office.

Tech Fun Run & Book Fair Challenge!

Today we held our very first Technology Fun Run! 

We had a BLAST!

Thank you Students, Family and Friends for donating.  Our goal was $10,000 and we surpassed it with $15,500 and still counting!  Our PTO has generously added $10,000 to our total bringing our grand total to over $25,000! We will use this money to purchase laptops for our students.

Mahalo to our Administrators for supporting the event, Tracie Murao and the PTO, Janel Uemori and Parent Volunteers for making this possible. 

A big mahalo to all our teachers, faculty and staff for going above and beyond to make this event great for our students.

This afternoon we were also treated to a Book Fair Challenge!  We surpassed our Book Fair collection goals and Mrs. Seatriz planned a wonderful Students vs. Teachers event!

Switch in School Schedule for Last Week of School

There will be a switch in schedule for the last week of school.  We are switching our Wednesday and Thursday end times.  On Wednesday, May 28th we will be ending school at 2:05 pm and on Thursday, May 29th we will be ending school at 12:45 pm.  Please make the necessary arrangements for your child to picked up at the proper times.

Kids Voting - We Vote HI Logo

 Kids Voting has changed their name to We Vote Hawaii.  They are creating a new logo for their organization and would like everyone's participation.  Please see their statements below and be an active citizen in exercising the right to vote.

There will be an online “election” to choose the new logo for We Vote
Hawaii. It will be an “open” election and everyone will be eligible to
vote: students, teachers, and parents.

It will be a ONE DAY election on Friday, May 23, 2014. Simply go to
wevotehawaii.org to vote. No password is needed to vote for the logo

Parent Nominations for School Year 2014-2015

The deadline to submit Parent Nomination forms for the Mililani 'Ike Academically Gifted and Talented Program is Wednesday, May 21, 2014.  Please turn in all required forms to the school office (Attention: GT Coordinator) no later than 3:45 p.m.  Testing will be conducted during the months of August and September, 2014.

Hawaiian Humane Society Goods Drive

At our goods drive for the Hawaiian Humane Society, we collected items needed by HHS to help support the organization's programs. Thank you to our 'Ike families for donating requested items to show our caring for Hawaii's animals!
