Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) Parent Night

We held a Smarter Balanced Assessment parent night to share the shifts of instruction necessary with the Common Core State Standards.  Teachers shared with parents the rigor of instruction that is taking place in our classrooms to prepare all students to be College and Career ready.  Parents were able to see examples of the questions and performance tasks that students will be completing.

Thank to all of our teachers for developing this informative night for our parents.  Thank you also to all of our parents for continuing to partner with us as we prepare our students to be future leaders with important critical thinking and problem solving skills.

First Grade Math Parent Night

Thank you for another great family learning event!  Our first grade teachers hosted a night of Common Core State Standards math information and games.  All families who attended played games utilizing math skills.  Parents and children worked together to solve math word problems.  A huge appreciation to our teacher and families for creating another memorable Pueo experience.

College and Career Parent Presentation

Aloha Mililani 'Ike parents!  Please join us as we host Dr. Cedric Lorenzo as our College and Career Week guest speaker for parents.  Dr. Lorenzo is a proud product of the Hawaii public school system.  He is now one of the top surgeons in the nation specializing in minimally invasive surgical and endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.
