Important Notice

All Hawaii public schools will be open on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and operate on normal class schedules. Federal offices will be closed for the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush. The United States flag and the Hawaii state flag will be flown at half-staff at all state offices, agencies and schools through Dec. 30, 2018.

Due to the recall on all romaine lettuce in light of the E. Coli outbreak, rest assured that our cafeteria has cancelled all scheduled deliveries of romaine from this point on.  Our salads will be a spinach salad with carrot and red cabbage to garnish.
Please make sure you discard  all romaine lettuce in your homes.  The CDC had  put out a nationwide alert on Tuesday 11/21 to retailers and consumers not to eat, sell, or serve romaine .  E. Coli will not be removed by washing.  Please keep your family safe!  If you see romaine on your turkey spread tomorrow, please kindly throw it out,  as some people may not be aware of the recall.
